In Saudi Arabia, DEME wasted no time in initiating preparatory activities for the Oxagon Phase 2 project immediately following the contract award in the preceding quarter. Expanding its footprint in Germany, DEME has secured both maintenance and new capital dredging projects, consolidating its position along the Elbe River corridor from Hamburg to the North Sea. Additionally, DEME has achieved milestones such as completing dredging works for a new container terminal in Gdansk, Poland, and commencing dredging operations in the hard rock terrain of the port of La Pallice in La Rochelle, France.
