Hall Contracting’s Commitment to Sustainability
Hall Contracting is transitioning its entire dredging fleet to utilize PANOLIN’s biodegradable hydraulic fluid, marking a significant step towards environmental sustainability.
Current Fleet Using PANOLIN
Currently, four of Hall’s dredges—Mooloolah River, Maroochy River, Nulla Nulla, and Saibai—are already operating with PANOLIN fluid. The company aims to complete the conversion for the rest of its fleet soon.
Benefits of PANOLIN Biodegradable Hydraulic Fluid
Eco-Friendly Solution
“This biodegradable hydraulic fluid is an eco-friendly solution that breaks down through soil and water microorganisms, allowing us to better protect the delicate marine ecosystems in which we operate,” said a representative from Hall Contracting.
Enhanced Performance and Reduced Emissions
“In addition to enhancing the performance of our dredges, PANOLIN also helps in reducing their carbon dioxide emissions,” they added.
PANOLIN: A Leader in Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants
Since 1983, PANOLIN has been a leading supplier of high-performance lubricants, specializing in Environmentally Considerate Lubricants (ECLs) and Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EALs).
By adopting PANOLIN’s biodegradable hydraulic fluid, Hall Contracting is not only improving the efficiency and sustainability of its dredging operations but also contributing to the protection of marine environments. This strategic move underscores Hall Contracting’s commitment to eco-friendly practices and reducing their environmental footprint.
