The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Buffalo District has been allocated $17.6 million for the Fiscal Year 2024 to enhance navigation and infrastructure in Lakes Erie and Ontario. This funding is part of a broader budget exceeding $226.2 million under the FY24 Work Plan for Army Civil Works, aimed at substantial improvements in environmental, navigation, and civil projects within the district’s jurisdiction.
