The Vox Ariane represents a groundbreaking addition to Van Oord’s fleet, being the first vessel equipped with an LNG fuel system. As Singapore’s inaugural dual-fuel dredger and the flagship unit of three identical dredgers commissioned by Van Oord and constructed by Keppel O&M, its innovative design sets new standards in the maritime industry.
With a substantial hopper capacity of 10,500 cubic meters, the Vox Ariane is engineered to meet stringent IMO Tier III requirements and regulations, incorporating advanced features aimed at maximizing fuel efficiency and minimizing CO2 emissions.
Furthermore, the Vox Ariane has achieved prestigious recognition, obtaining both the Green Passport and Clean Ship Notation from Bureau Veritas.
