Project Scope: Maintenance Dredging of Red Hook Flats Anchorage
The project scope includes maintenance dredging of Red Hook Flats Anchorage within New York Harbor to depths of -35, -40, and -45 feet Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW), with a 2-foot allowance for overdepth.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has specified that the contractor will extract approximately 500,000 cubic yards of material located within critical shoal areas within the Red Hook Flats Anchorage.
This project is expected to be completed in January 2024.
