The Board of Directors of Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation has appointed Ryan Bayer, 41, as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. This strategic decision will take effect from August 15, 2023.
Appointment of Ryan Bayer as Chief Accounting Officer
Mr. Bayer, a Certified Public Accountant in Texas, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of Texas at Austin. From September 2019 until he joined the Company, Mr. Bayer was the Corporate Controller of PERMA-PIPE International Holdings Inc., a global engineered pipe services company.
One of his previous engagements includes a tenure as the Director of Corporate Accounting at AFGlobal Corporation, a technology and manufacturing company catering to industries such as oil and gas, general industrial, aerospace, and power generation.
Succession Plan: Ryan Bayer Replaces Todd M. Lightfoot
He has also served as Senior Manager of Audit and Risk Advisory Services at KPMG and Manager of Petroleum Services at Sanchez Oil and Gas Corporation.
Ryan Bayer replaces Todd M. Lightfoot as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Lightfoot will conclude his journey on September 30, 2023.
