In a strategic move, Patriot Environmental has appointed Ryan Bunch as the Vice President of Operations. Before joining Patriot Environmental, Bunch held a significant role at Environmental Specialties International (ESI), the largest contracted installer of geosynthetic lining materials in the United States.

ESI acquired Patriot Environmental in 2019. Despite maintaining separate operations, the two entities worked together.
Professional Journey at Southern Company
Bunch’s tenure at ESI was marked by his management of large-scale, multiyear projects within the Coal Ash and Mining sectors. With a track record of overseeing the installation of over 90 million square feet of geosynthetic material over the past four years, his expertise has significantly contributed to the industry’s advancement. Bunch’s professional journey commenced at Southern Company, where he dedicated 14 years to the company’s engineering and construction services division. During this tenure, he adeptly managed contracts and supervised capital projects involving ash pond closures, dry ash landfill closures, and power generation facility assets.
