Successful Completion of Dredging Operations
The Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) Elbe, a specialized suction hopper vessel, has successfully concluded its share of dredging work in Little Bay. This was achieved on August 11th, 2023.
The dredging operations conducted by the TSHD Elbe have yielded remarkable results, effectively removing and disposing of a substantial volume of materials within the construction footprint and the navigational path. The subsequent phases of dredging and the meticulous finalization of slope adjustments will be undertaken using alternative equipment and methods, as outlined in the official release.
