Wilo UK has completed the acquisition of Arfon Rewinds Limited, known as Arfon Engineering Services, in a strategic move aimed at bolstering the company’s capabilities in water management pump servicing.
This acquisition allows Wilo UK to expand its service offerings in critical water management functions such as installation, repair, condition monitoring, and general pump maintenance.
Arfon operates two workshops, one specializing in dirty water pumps located in Bromborough, and the other dedicated to clean water pumps situated in Caernarfon. With a workforce of approximately 20 full-time engineers, Arfon plays a significant role as a service and maintenance provider for industries in the North West of England, as well as several water utility companies, including Welsh Water and United Utilities.
Despite the acquisition, Arfon will continue to operate independently as a separate legal entity to fulfill its existing customer commitments and contracts. Wilo UK has acquired 100% of Arfon’s shares and assets, ensuring a seamless transition while enhancing its service portfolio in the water management sector.
