Future Plans for K. Gulhifalhu
Installation of Protective Revetment
In the upcoming months, the project team will focus on installing a 2.6-kilometer revetment to shield the newly reclaimed area of Gulhifalhu from the Indian Ocean’s forces.
By leveraging advanced dredging techniques and the expertise of Boskalis, this project has significantly expanded the land area of K. Gulhifalhu, paving the way for future development and infrastructure improvements in the Maldives.
